In an email posted on the OrangeCountyScan Yahoo Group today, it was reported that the CHP is now using a 700 MHz extender frequency in Orange County. The vehicle repeater is on 769.4375 NAC DB2.

The poster, calif4nian, also reported the following information:

The black handheld radio, like the red and yellow ones here (https://www.efjohnson.com/products/portables/5100es) transmit on 799.4375. Handheld to handheld (channel 3) is 799.4375 NAC 1A0. I did not get the NAC for Channel 1 (handheld to station through low-band) or Channel 2 (handheld to other cars through low-band).
