Traffic was backed up Friday in the Sepulveda Pass after a NBC4 News truck caught fire on the 405 Freeway.
NBC photographer Joel Cooke, who was the only person in the vehicle, was traveling northbound on the 405 Freeway near the Getty Center when the vehicle caught fire.
The car fire started at 10:37 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Cooke was able to safely exit the vehicle and call 911.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was unknown.
