On Saturday, September 5th a brush fire broke out in Griffith Park. The 3-5 acre fire erupted at 2:30 pm according to Erik Scott, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department. 100 firefighters assisted by water dropping helicopters had the blaze extinguished by 4 pm.
