Please join members of your Los Angeles Fire Department this Friday, September 30, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the 12th Annual Public Safety Appreciation Barbecue in Downtown Los Angeles.

Hosted by the Downtown Los Angeles Center Business Improvement District on the upper level of 7+Fig (soon known as FigAt7th) at 735 South Figueroa Street, this public event honors the men and women of the LAFD, LAPD, CHP, LADOT, FBI, Sheriff’s Department and other public safety agencies.

All are welcome. We encourage use of the Metro Red Line, Metro Purple Line or Metro Blue Line, which each serve the nearby “7th Street/Metro Center” Station. DASH Downtown Shuttles also serve the intersection of 7th Street and Figueroa Street, home to  7+Fig.

For those who wish to drive, there is easy-to-access hourly parking nearby.

This year, your simple $7 lunch donation supports the Los Angeles Firemen’s Relief Association, providing assistance to families of fallen Los Angeles Firefighters.
