Griffith Park Brush Fire

On Saturday, September 5th a brush fire broke out in Griffith Park. The 3-5 acre fire erupted at 2:30 pm according to Erik Scott, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department. 100 firefighters assisted by water dropping helicopters had the blaze extinguished by 4 pm. No structures were threatened, and no injuries were reported. American Heroes Air Show 2015

The 2015 American Heroes Air Show is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2015. The show will feature helicopters from numerous public safety and military agencies, plus an occasional television news helicopter. The LAPD, LAFD, L.A. County Fire and L.A.
